Sonnet 79

Whilst I alone did call upon aid,
My verse alone had all gentle grace,
But now my gracious numbers are decayed,
And my sick muse give an other place.
I grant (sweet love) lovely argument
Deserves the travail of a worthier pen,
Yet what of poet invent,
He robs of, and pays it again,
He lends virtue, and he stole that word,
From behaviour, beauty he give
And found it in cheek: he can afford
No praise to , but what in live.
Then thank him not for that which he say,
Since what he owes , thyself pay.
